Welcome to the Reaping

Blending within the shadows springing from your hat

You're sinister face springs a snare laced for me

In the darkest corners of this blackened place you sat

To watch your tendrils devoid of light fly freely

Laughing as you see

The seeds you've planted within me

As it grows I bleed

The roots of darkness implode to grow this tree

My previously fleshed face turns white

My eyes grow black like ink

Rise, my child, the end comes, fight!

Said the daemon who never blinks

Black clouds to make life choke upon the life it sows

Crawl deeper like a toxic parasite to grow

This ending dream fulfilled by a maniacal being

Seeping into the thoughts of innocent men

Damned are we, as it ought to be

But I laugh all along, for I am already lost
