A Token of Reality

Laughing is but a diversion

From the overwelming depression

That is none other than life

In which we heedlessly strife

Happiness is but a detour

From the dark and lonely downpour

That is our poor existance

Joy is but a trance

Take this as you will, but you shant change my mind

I will hold this still, until the day I die

Sadness opens the eyes so clearly

And brings the truth to light

Fear blind joy, should thee

For that only brings you night
